Good mail: I agree 100%. Intel is never going to get seriously damaged by AMD and CYRX on any level playing surface. INTC is too strong a company in all respects. These companies cannot be allowed to surf on Intels wave. If they are strong companies why not think up their own trademarks. If they can produce faster cheaper processors- whats the
problem? Surely we will all rush to buy these marvellous products as the big PC manufacturers rush to put them in their machines. The truth is the products are unlikly to be that hot- they may be a little cheaper but INTEL is the quality supplier with strong R&D resources.
Their advertising on prime time TV over here in England is strong and
they are also included in the current NASDAQ campaign on UK TV. At the
most AMD and CYRX will take a small share of the lower end of the
market.All this is IMHO!!
