Teledesic Moves to New Global Headquarters Called 'Broadband Center'

BELLEVUE, Wash. - May 24, 1999 - Teledesic LLC, which is building a global, broadband Internet-in-the-Sky, is moving to
a new global headquarters here called the "Broadband Center."

The building is a former warehouse that has been converted into a high-tech, custom workspace for Teledesic. Opening June
1, the Broadband Center will initially house about 115 Teledesic employees. The new address is Teledesic LLC, Broadband
Center, 1445 120th Ave. N.E., Bellevue, WA 98005. All Teledesic phone numbers remain the same.

"We're moving to our new headquarters so we can bring our team together in one location and accommodate our future
growth," said Teledesic President Mark Shahriary. Teledesic previously occupied several floors in two different buildings at
Carillon Point in nearby Kirkland, Wash.

Teledesic will occupy about 70,000 square feet, including 50,000 square feet on the main floor and 20,000 feet in a mezzanine
that was added during renovation of the building.

NBBJ Architects of Seattle, which designed the Broadband Center, used raw materials, such as steel, exposed wood beams
and natural light, to transform the building into an open, efficient work environment. Foushee and Associates of Bellevue,
Wash., was the project manager on the building.

To fuel Teledesic's turbo-charged culture, the Broadband Center includes a full-service Tully's gourmet coffee store. Other
features of the building include huge skylights, 27-foot ceilings, a high-tech raised floor housing the company's electrical,
telephone, data and mechanical air supply, a "floating" conference room and catwalk attached to the mezzanine, a workout
facility and locker room, a game room and a garden courtyard.

"It's an innovative workspace for an innovative company," said Bill Owens, Teledesic's co-chief executive officer. "The open
floor plan design will facilitate more communication and collaboration among our team members, which is ideal for our
culture."

Using a constellation of low-Earth-orbit satellites, Teledesic is the first licensed satellite communications network that will
enable affordable, worldwide access to "fiber-like" telecommunications services such as computer networking, broadband
Internet access and interactive multimedia. Teledesic will deliver broadband data and value-added services over a global
network optimized for the Internet Protocol that can guarantee end-to-end quality of service. Telecommunications pioneer
Craig McCaw and Bill Gates are the two primary founding investors in Teledesic. Other investors include Motorola, Saudi
Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal and The Boeing Company. Teledesic (pronounced "tel-eh-DEH-sic") is a private company based
in Bellevue, a suburb of Seattle.

Teledesic and "Internet-in-the-Sky" are service marks of Teledesic LLC.
