I'm curious if you think that the members of this thread really have that type of power to move the stock. If so, I would think people would probably just post ridiculous expectations on stocks that they were short. I know that this probably happens, I've just never thought that it was effective.

I *am* a long-term investor, the various predictions are really just mental exercises. I post them because I know others may be looking for an entry or exit point and may find this information useful. As long as Qualcomm continues to show earnings growth and strong prospects for the future, it doesnt matter to me if the stock tanks after the coming quarter. It would just represent another buying opportunity.

I agree completely on the last point. The Q's future is almost completely in it's own hands.
