RE: Answers to Edward's questions:

Edward, Since you appear to be reinvestigating Iomega as an investment, I suggest you begin by checking out the following:

Recent SEC filings on EDGAR at: sec.gov

Great IOM reference web site at: 205.216.138.19

The Motley Fool at: fool.com

Now, for some brief answers to your questions:

1. There was an article in Yahoo, March 14th, stating number of units shipped: Is this above, below or inline with the companies projections?

ANSWER: Iomega has not made any specific projections as to units shipped. I think it is safe to assume however that the numbers are in line with general guesstimates based on the time since the 4 million drives shipped announcement.

2. Your "wild guess for Q1 EPS" is more than a little above the "profession guesses": If i wanted to buy shares in this company and hold them for 3 to 5 years --but didn't want to see the price go down right after i bought them-- do you think that this is a good time ($14- $15) to buy?

ANSWER: Iomega has and continues to be a very speculative investment. IMO, now is a very good time to buy in. The stock is near its lows of last September when the company was buying back shares in this price range.

3. What is this Syquest company? Are they or anyone else making a product that is different and better than IOM's Zip?

ANSWER: Syquest once owned the removable drive market until Iomega came out with their ZIP. They offer the SyJet (competes with the JAZ), and the EZFlyer (competes with the ZIP). The LS-120 also competes with the ZIP. (There are some comparison articles in the above referenced web sites).

**********

Edward, I would never suggest investing a penny of your hard-earned cash in any stock based on what you read here on these threads. IMO, you've got to do your own research. Good Luck to you.

Regards - Dale
