What do you do with open positions? Easy - you call MBT and their excellent, friendly brokerage support will help you with whatever you want to do.

Problems with their hardware is extremely rare, and these guys do a better job of handling it (on the rare occasions it does occur) than anyone else in the industry.

Scanshift, no offense but I know I have a lot of company when I say, I wish you would take your ill-informed little war against MBT (a top-drawer daytrading brokerage if there ever was one), and ARCA, an excellent ECN, and just go away. You're not adding any value to the discussion with your war-like diatribe. All you're doing is just annoying a lot of us with the ego-based 'stuff' you're posting on this thread. If you have such a big beef and you're so knowledgeable with trading software development, why don't you go write a competitive ECN, do something constructive?
