John, it looks like the markets always go to the extremes. <g> Don't the markets love excess? If you're a bond trader/dealer, are you going to hold or go long bonds when you're inundated daily with stories like below? <g>

I agree they should wait for more conclusive data, especially since the spike in crude filtered down into industries whose products are from oil based derivatives, but I don't think they are basing their decisions on crude prices alone as several Fed governors have made lots of remarks about demand lately. (Can provide the links to those comments if you like)<g>

Don't understand why AG would consider it personal as he is certainly not the inflation hawk on the board.
