Just curious, but in 1926 was FORD selling at 100 times sales?

Doesn't matter....you got my point, that there are extraordinary changes taking place in the way the world does business and the net is at the forefront of it all. By the time the traditional valuation numbers start making sense, it may be too late to buy.

I fully expect that The B-Man will comment this weekend on the Internet Daytraders and Gunslingers crying in their milk, beer, ginger ale, or whatever, over the weakness in the net stocks over the past month or so. So here are some results to consider over my current beverage of choice, Dewars on-the-rocks:

Allan's top five performing Internet stocks, Year-To-Date:

DCLK +362%
CMGI +164%
EXDS +117%
PSIX +110%
RNWK + 74%

Allan's worse performing Internet stocks, Year-To-Date:

SWS +23.5%
CSCO +21.3%
BSCT +18.9%
SUNW +13.7%
MSFT +11.1%

S&P Y-T-D: +6%

My Point: Just returned from a week in Michigan visiting family. I was told that last year the Red Wings were offered 5 (five, count them five) first round draft choices for Fedorov, the invisible man. They passed. They lost.

It's called the Future.
