The Solomon Brothers manager on CNBC believes AOL should trade like a cable stock ( or like a cable stock trades when there is no take-over mania ); if AOL traded like cable, it would be at 20, he said. So if it trades at 50-60, as he thinks it will, AOL would still be pricey.

Should AOL trade like a cable stock? I don't think so--if only because growth prospects are so much greater for AOL.
