Exchange Approves Acquisition From Bioprogress Technology Inc.

Vancouver, BC, June 1, 1999: Consolidated Ecoprogress Technology Inc. (Ecoprogress) (CES.V) is pleased to announce that the Vancouver Stock Exchange has approved the acquisition announced April 6, 1999. Ecoprogress has strategically acquired from Bioprogress Technology International, Inc. the assets of Trutona International Inc., and the rights to B-9* film technology worldwide.

This expansion of the Ecoprogress license, which encompass the rest of the world, creates an increase in market size for the Company's feminine hygiene products from a $220 million market in Canada to $7 billion worldwide. Additionally with the Company's soon to be released diaper, the market size increases from $400 million in Canada to $9 billion world wide. This acquisition greatly enhances the potential to earn revenue now and in the long term with the Company's existing products and those under development.

Mr. Brian Besco, Vice President Sales and Marketing reports that tremendous progress has been made establishing agents for the Company's products worldwide. To date distributors have been established in Canada, Europe and United States and negotiations are well underway with agents in China, Israel, The Middle East, New Zealand, Mexico and the Philippines. Furthermore the Company has initiated its product awareness campaign in Canada which will include new marketing materials such as point of purchase displays, coupons and media advertising. Ecoprogress will soon be positioned to launch an aggressive campaign to establish market share for its products world wide.

The Company is also pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Todd McMurray as Vice President Corporate Development. Mr. McMurray, an investor relations professional, has over 12 years experience working with public companies. His appointment is a strong compliment to the Ecoprogress management team as it begins its world wide expansion.

Ecoprogress owns the worldwide rights for all products produced with the patented B-9 * technology. Ecoprogress combines the B-9* along with other biodegradable compounds, to replace a wide range of products currently produced with plastic. The Company's first products developed with this technology are the only biodegradable and flushable feminine pads and panty liners in the world. Other products in development include disposable diapers, diaper liners, incontinence pads and breast pads. The global market for absorbent products, including disposable diapers, training pants, feminine hygiene and adult incontinence products, is expected to exceed 240 billion units in 1998
