Bill, I would strongly disagree with your assertion that many of the posts over the recent past resembles teen-age girls having a hissy fit. To my mind, it is like there are two different groups of acolytes outside the temple. One group declaims to all who would listen that their God is the one true God (let's call him Fruglump), and all who don't worship in their temple are heretics doomed to burn in eternal hellfire. The other group says the same thing about it's God (known as Lumpfrug), and knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that the poor deluded worshippers of Fruglump will never attain the eternal bliss which will inevitably come to the true believers of the one true God, Lumpfrug. Okay, so I'm stretching the metaphor out of recognition, but I think you get the point. These threads frequently descend to the level of "My dad's bigger than you're Dad, neener, neener, neener."
