Even with the open access, there are still tricks can be done both technically and legally by the cable companies to have unique advantage over other ISPs. Well, it's definitely not a good feeling to see this stock tanking, but, hey, we here to get a chance to verify Ahhaha's "Monopoly only makes us poor; competition has us complaining all the way to the bank." Look at the brighter side, without AMD you won't know Intel is such a unique business, without Solaris and Netware you would never be interested in waiting to take a look at Windows 2000. Of course, without AOL, you would think @Home is just another ISP. Next time, yes trust me, there will be many next times, use your real money (not margin) to play @Home so you won't fell the pain.
