Aus, My view is that the Siemens ROM MMC is what will make MMC a 'true' as opposed to transient standard as will the backwards compatibility to the established and growing CF slot base. The recollection I have of the original announcements is that the ROM version will be less that $5 and will maintain that price as capacity dances to Moores law. It seems to me that Siemens and Sandisk have a duopoly strategy of their own. Could you describe better the MMC based album you received bundled with your player? etown.com Regards Stew
