Repap New Brunswick Receives Strike Notification NEW BRUNSWICK, Canada, June 4 /CNW-PRN/ - Repap New Brunswick Inc reports that local 689 of the Communication, Energy and Paperworkers Union, which represents approximately 900 unionized employees at the Miramichi Mill, has rejected the Company's latest contract offer made this week and has today issued notification of a strike to commence at noon, June 5, 1999 that will result in the mill's shutdown.
