Hi GB and thanks for the detailed note. Yes, I have only limited experience in Mexico or outside the USA as far as investing goes. I was riding up the "backbone" of Mexico in 1991 and again in 1994 and had been impressed with all the infrastructure changes and improvements going on at the time. It was as though they were in a big hurry to finish out the 20th Century properly outfitted with roads, power and telephones.

My initial investment was Mexico Fund (MXF) to cover lots of bases and then ICA and VTO. I did well with VTO, but let it go in favor of other investments at the time. I kept ICA and MXF. ICA has out-performed MXF, but only with significant tolerance of volatility.

Yes, there's currency problems as well as political considerations to be understood or at least realized. I have tried to model a currency strategy in the past to lessen the blow of massive devaluations, but so far the answer has stayed out of reach.

Although my holding in ICA isn't a large portion of my portfolio, it's large enough to keep my interest. I'll attempt to capture graphs of my history with ICA and present them here. Maybe sometime this weekend or maybe next week.

Thanks again for your interest.

Best regards, Tom
