Stew,

I have a "limited edition" release of a classical guitar soloist on an MMC ROM that I received bundled with my Pontis mp3 purchase. It has about 15 minutes of recorded music. It looks like a regular MMC card except there is a cardboard overlay with the artist's photograph. It came in a standard-sized jewel case with a cardboard pull-out that houses the card and the liner notes. I suppose that a standard album will require at least 32 MB of ROM unless compression can be pushed a bit.

IMHO, the sound is indistinguishable from a CD.
