gbh: Market cap has nothing to do with revenues. Market cap is the value the market attributes to a corporation and this value is arrived at by multiplying the outstanding shares by the market price of the stock.

You are right however, when you say that Newbridge is considered, by American standards, a mid-cap stock. Generally these days, any stock with a market cap under $10 billion is not considered a large cap stock.
