<< When/did/will GPGI receive payment>> Tony, if this stuff is worth $600k/(short - 2000lb) ton, then a 2 kilo sample (using 2 x 2.2 lbs) of it is worth about 4.4/2000 (1/455) lbs or only about $1300, if my arithmetic isn't faulty. This is gross value, of course and does not take into account refining costs. Actually "refining costs" is a misnomer. This is still R&D of a sort - this time at the refiner end. That this is such a small sample, there would be no economy of scale, indeed, it could be quite time-consuming and consequently quite expensive for Sabin to do this what amounts to an in-house optimal extraction analysis. I wouldn't be surprised if they get a very small check for this. Now the 1000 lbs of anode sludge - that's another story. That could awaken a sleeping precious metals market (in pgm's)!
BTW, I just received my Global brochure....it is nice, and communicates a certain new confidence and promise, but of course its success depends on who the audience is and how they respond, neither of which I know anything about at the moment. I did find a little typo where MMcK's company is introduced before he is, but it's minor - [ and this is in the context of my being a fussy incurable/nitpicky editor and word-nerd ]. My best guess is that it will raise some awareness of this company, but a check for the 1000 lbs will raise more...regards,
