You are a member of a City Council. I come to the council and propose a plan to pave the city roads at my cost and tell you that for a fee, the citizens can use the roads but they may only drive cars purchased from me/my dealership. Would you pass the resolution in the Council to let me pave the roads in your city?

Now if your citizens came to you and said, let me pave the roads and for a decent profit allow me to charge a use fee for the road. But not to allow me to dictate the use of the road. Let every car dealer have a fair chance to sel their cars for use on the road and let me not have the only priviledge to dictate the use of the car on the roads paved by me.

Which in your opinion is free enterprise folks? Consumer protection, consumer rights etc.

I will very soon post a plan on this thread and would solicit your help to counter an impending appeal by ATT. I think we should all get organized and lobby hard with the powers that be to uphold the Oregon decision. It is doable. We consumers should have a say. And we are supreme.

Have a nice weekend.
