I am not intimately familiar with WINR but my understanding is that it provides an off-shore bank account for users to utilize in gambling on-line. The acct transactions are still done via the 'net using current encryption.

BETT allows users to use their own bank account or a cash card (like a pre-paid phone card) to make same as cash transactions in the same manner as merchants charge credit cards or debit cards using a scanning device which transmits via direct telephone link. This is a more secure method than encrypted internet transactions as no one else can see the transaction to decode it (unless they hack into the bank). This is a form of instant transaction that people are familiar with and comfortable with, unlike true e-commerce.

For these reasons I do not believe they are direct competitors, however they may be indirect competitors for gambling transactions in general. BETT has no true same as cash transaction competitor that I am aware of at this time. It depends on how broadly you define the market.

There are more differences I am sure, but this covers what I perceive to be the basic fundamental differences. If anyone has a better understanding or needs to correct me, please jump in.
