Nothing to fix, though, is there?
That's the problem.
I can't say I understand the California way of looking at things, but I do try.
Try to keep up.
Where I am from, you don't attack your friends, call them thieves and cheats and liars. I know it's funny, I've been hearing it for seventeen years, I started law school in 1982, and I've been hearing how rotten I am ever since. No, I don't think it's funny.
I guess in California, that passes for amusement. What do I know?
And, it seems to me, in California, if someone is offended by what you say, it's their problem.
So be it. It's my problem.
I don't like being called a liar and a cheat and a thief. And if you don't understand that, so be it.
I won't say whose problem it is. It really doesn't matter. Not a whole lot either of us can do about it, I think.
