Fred Fahmy March 15,1997 Fred, your post today was a measure of brilliance as you so very well articulated the fundamental essence of what makes Intel so significant in the first place. The strength of this leader in the future cannot be ignored forever and over the years I am confident that you will enjoy tremendous wealth by your boring rich slow approach. Back in late 1995 when Intel soared to 78 and Microsoft reached 108, it was a spokesman from Microsoft who made a statement saying that he could not believe that the stock price of Microsoft was so high and of course the correction commenced, However, we all know what happened since. I believe like yourself that we are fortunate to be living in such an oportunistic time in that we as shareholders of companies such as Intel and Microsoft will live to see an immense change in our lifetime propelled by unprecented innovation and designs. Intel and Microsoft will answer and be victorious over any chanllenge it faces not only today but for the future as well. These companies have the muscle, the collaboration of brilliant leadership, the abundant cooperative spirit from its' world wide work force and the money to move mountains. Remaining paranoid but not stressed is an identification of the human nature which reacts to day to day trends in the market place.
