sweet pea--i think the legal definition of felon applies only in the criminal justice system--such as more punishment when a felon carries a gun, etc., etc.--so you need a legal definition of felon. Just because you are not caught and therefore not prosecuted does not exonerate your felonious behavior. (indeed--not guilty has no relevance of innocence).
