Life is not so binary. If you recall, my answer to bgr was in four parts. I was clarifying one thread of my response. It is bgr that puzzles me when he so strongly asserts that the market is efficient, yet doesn't leave it alone. the market is efficient...buy dell. that juxtaposition doesn't make sense to me.

my response was that, at times, the market was somewhat efficient. my second response is that this kind of venue and these participants are part of the process that makes it as efficient as it is. the market is a great debate which is interesting to me. my response about the grass and the car and golf was satire in part. if it's fruitless to you to try to outguess it, bgr, why are you trying to outguess it? why not put all your funds and your income on direct deposit to an index fund and concentrate your energies where you can make a difference? rhetorical, howard.
