Nice release to keep the breadth of Acro's international market in the industry's mind, but only $1mm and not HP. I'm not complaining but I don't think we will see much movement until:
1) IOT is part of the line-up. Then Acro and Sinclair will be able to get in the front door of the all IOT broadcasters who are afraid to switch to superior diacrode.
2) Sustained sales of HP @ rate of 1mm per week. Let's hope that the American Tower Deal will generate some of these. Let's also hope that there will be other deals with co's that own tower space.
3) Sinclair and Ostroff use their considerable influence on the other significant broadcasters. That will happen, to the surprise and chagrin of Harris and Comark because unlike Harris and Comark's previous ability to bully any co that was thinking about buying from Acro, Sinclair and Ostroff have their own clout.
4) Sales of replacement and new digital pick up. There has just been an incredible lag in embracing DTV with no HDTV sets on the market. The pressure that the cable industry will start to generate in this regard will force the broadcasters to commit to the technology. This will, IMHO, have a cascading effect on TV manufacturers which will in turn have a reinforcing effect for demand on the broadcasters. I think it will just take some time.
I guess I really don't see much happening for the next 1 year. It will take some time for the IOT to be released, for Sinclair to use its influence, for the next VP of manufacturing to get a convincing production and engineering system going, for the .com to come on line, for the broadcasters to feel the heat from cable, for the public to appreciate HDTV, for the TV sets to be cheap enough for purchase, etc etc etc.
It is hard to tell when Acro will begin to reflect this. Perhaps, with the recent stock price creep, it is already, but it is truly low volume. |
