Ron,

As I see it, yesterday's press release about the change in pricing structure goes hand in hand with the release of tornado II. Tornado II as I am sure you are aware is a much slicker product than Tornado I. It has lots of nice features such as task wizards and is generally far more user friendly. Such a product should require vastly last support or hand holding from WIND as compared to T1.

Perhaps it is only with the release of T2 that WIND is in a position to tackle the real embedded mass market and maybe the change in pricing is just the final touch. At the CC's Ron always mentions that the real competition for WIND is not from the other RTOS companies but from the in-house RTOS. Perhaps T2 coupled with the new pricing structure is what's needed to finally convert over the remaining in-house RTOS brigade to WIND's products. I think this bodes well for the future.

Regards
JC.
