Thanks. It was just disheartening. It always is when I realize that someone talking to me with intent when they have a core of disgust for who I really am. You have to wonder why they're there. And the signs were there in dropped phrases and references. I should have bailed rather than trying to friendly with someone. An amusing note to me was that what set him off and caused the veil to drop was when I looked about the bar and mused aloud, wondering where "my yuppie boy" was. He thought I meant him and was all upset. I think it might have been the yuppie part. I didn't think refering to some as a young, urban professional was an insult. And after hearing about his multi-millionaire dad that knows blah and blah, and his daughter who's about to sing at Carnigie Hall.. I'm confused that he would take it as one. Ah, well. I can see why you have avoided dating. Do you always have to listen to that stuff?
