Cable does have representation to broadband, it just seems to get ignored here on this thread. With their agrreements with SBC and BEL they have 40% of the population covered. Certainly they will get the rest of the country covered before year end, if not sooner. Granted they don't have any cable partners, but Cable is really a very small market. The market penetration is expected to be 25% in 5 years. This never was an urgent matter to resolve and Wall Street knows this, hence the buy recommendations. It is the fast money traders that are clueless. As much as I am a raging bull on AOL, this decision will ultimately be as much a positive for cable as it is for AOL if not more. This will get the Cables one step closer to recognizing they need to partner with other ISP's to increase the attractiveness of their offering. I have high speed access and AOL anywhere so I completely understand the attractiveness of broadband, but no matter how fast you deliver the speed, it doesn't do anygood if you don't offer the content people want
