I am glad you had good results. I think beam will go up but I also feel the laser of choice is VISX. After Visx does their marketing campaign, they will solidify themselve to the point where the patients may request it. Because it is relatively undervalued as compared with visx, beam will go up, but not sure if it will maintain. Also, Nidek and others whom already have a good rep. in other countries can provide competition (once allowed) and drive the price down and can be done in the office will increase accessability. Once this happens, even more patients will have this done. THis would reduce the profit margin of Visx and could pop the balloon. THerefore I would buy beam, but be happy with the profit for 6 months then sell. Would only hang on the visx for 1 year. The next area of profit is the users. TLc is already trading at 1000 pe, but ohsi is only at 10x forward earnings, so I think that would be good for the long term. THats where my money is at.
