SpyTrader - "Merrill is no Microsoft, and Komansky is no Bill Gates" ... LOL ... I still hold to my opinion that Merrill is populated by the absolute bottom of the barrel traders and financial executives and they are going to be pummelled by EGRP ... Here's a funny quote from a Merrill exec: "Merrill understands the Internet," said John Steffens, Merrill's brokerage chief. And did you hear his response after flip-flopping on his dire statement that the world is going to end because of online trading? "What I've talked about is super-active day trading,". Right, he meant day-traders when he said that online trading was the worst thing to happen to the financial markets. Who's he trying to kid. They are really the jokes of Wall Street. Another good quote from an article: "Mugging for the cameras on Tuesday, Steffens and his boss, Merrill chairman David Komansky, appeared as convincing as Death Row inmates who discover religion five minutes before midnight."
