Right again, and that is why I want to see the rollout done in a carefully crafted way. If Intel throws all its muscle behind the Rambus rollout, the OEMs get on board, of course, since it gives them something new to sell. Then some beautiful full color graphs are employed in the marketing materials showing the impact of faster memory speeds on games and killer applications. The rambus R becomes synonomous with speed. Basically, if you are buying a new PC for the office, you gotta have it. If you don't it will be like buying only 32 mgs. of memory in the first place. Not enough! What will the word Rambus mean to the consumer? Gotta start figuring that out right now.
