What about the new software programmable DSP chips that will (supposedly) be able to support CAP or DMT, according to Cioffi quote posted here a while back. Sounded like Amati was recognizing that CAP will be a viable protocol. So again ... back to the standards arguement: what difference does it make if ANSI nods to DMT?
