Great thread!! Here's one on using ARCA to get fills.
I find ARCA very effective for getting good fills, especially above 500 shares - better than SNET Broadcast, SNET preferencing, SOES, ISLD. I use ARCA strictly with limit orders, usually buying near the bid and selling near the offer. The key is to time the order correctly vs. momentum in the stock, and to set the price properly. Have found that very few traders have used ARCA enough to fully appreciate it. Never use ARCA with a market order! I have found ARCA to be the solution to all of these partial e.g. 131 share) fills you get on ISLD. ARCA is a selectnet order-preferencing engine. With ISLD I often have to end up using multiple tickets to get filled. Still learning, open to more discussion/learning here!
No affiliation with ARCA etc., just a private trader.
