Since gnet is somewhat undiscovered it doesn't really follow the same trends as the others, I know, but I think I'll stick my neck out a little here..... The Portland ruling says everybody has access to T's cable lines. Great for AOL who were lacking in broadband strategy but @home/excite are worth a lot less. For those that look deeply gnet is like excite, at least I was counting on Allen teaming gnet with his cable co's, therefore a fundamental snag occurred Friday. Again I'm not sure how many investors really made this connection though because gnet kind of marches to its own drummer. Also I guess nobody knows if the portland ruling will hold? thestreet.com
