Bill, You might want to modify your time estimates. Lines 1+2 have been running full-speed for some time now (months). Production 'bottleneck' issues have been fully addressed as well. The last I heard, the engineers were 'busting their nuts' getting the *third* line running at production speed. I would expect they're building inventory from lines 1+2 right now.

And while I share your thoughts about the production manager not being onsite and up to speed until the end of July, say, I agree more with Paul that they don't hire someone like that unless they're already running. They can easily have 2 mos. or more of raw materials present, and have roughed-out their schedules, so they could be running well enough already even before this fellow comes aboard to 'fine tune' the system for them, and adjust as needed according to varying production needs. They don't need him to be 'up to speed' before they ever go to full production.
