Hi William,
Wow you're online today too!
I respectfully disagree with you. I think that a lot of folks would like to "replay" the day's data. I know that for me, one of the most important things I do everyday is to review my daily trades and judge whether each trade was the best it could be.
I'm a daytrader. I scalp trade based on momentum. Most of the time these trades last only a couple of minutes. Timing and order execution is everything to me. Did I enter the trade at a good point? Did I sell or stop too soon, or not soon enough. Was I using all my "indicators" correctly (sp futures, stochastics, moving averages, charting T/A, ...).
Personally, I believe that reviewing all my trades is extremely important and getting another look the "replayed" data would be very beneficial. I don't think day's worth or an hour's worth of data would be too large to store, and getting Cybertrader to pull data from an archived file vs. live data would be a relatively easy programming task. By the way, as I'm sure you're aware, CyberX already has this simulator capability.
Hopefully, CyberCorp will respond to this posting with whether or not they have thought about providing this capability. I'm sure they probably will...
Regards,
Fred Martin |
