To All, Lemon Drop Kid won the Belmont. I didn't think Bob Hope could still go that fast. <g> I sure hope Charismatic is o.k., but it didn't look good the way he was shaking his head.

My strategy of betting all the horses at 15-1 or better worked. Actually, at the start of the year, I loved Lemon Drop Kid, but then he went into a slump, so I wouldn't have bet him without this shotgun approach. I almost bet the same horses to place, but then I said, place won't pay that much, so why do it? What a dummy! Place paid $44.40 on the second place horse and nearly as much on the Kid. Oh, well, you can't kiss all the pretty girls.
