Doug Casey maintains, in the December 1996 issue of International Speculator, that Gran Colombia (GRM) remains a favorite of his even though it hasn't performed well. He also recommended that two new stocks that hold ground in the same Marmato area, namely, SUR AMERICA and CORONA, should be bought at near the offering price.

At one point last year, Doug Casey ventured the opinion that GRM might well be the next Bre-X!

Too bad it hasn't panned out so far.
