>>Suspend autoplay

Yes, you can view this with the TweakUI power toy. It works
in 95/98 and NT. You can download power toys from the
microsoft web site; also Tweak UI comes on the Win 98 CD.
The 95/98 TweakUI works in NT, but be wary of the other
power toys in NT. In particular, DON'T install the enhanced
CD toys (an autoplay toy and a cd player toy). They can
screw up your CD access in NT. This is the voice of
experience warning you on that one; ignore at your peril <G>.

TweakUI gives you a GUI interface for all sorts of useful
registry settings; among them is CD Autoplay. Incidentally,
this particular setting applies to all CDs, IDE and SCSI.
