I'm not sure where you are located, but out here on the West Coast, were taking poles out, not putting them in. Every subdivision I've seen go up in the last 10 years has specified underground utilities. Furthermore, CC&Rs in most upscale subdivisions preclude the use of "unsightly" antennae, or satelite dishs on the roofs of residences.
You and I may think RF gear is aesthetically pleasing, but I assure you this is not a universally held sentiment.
