Hey, ithasnospaces, watch your blood pressure there. No need for you to suffer a stroke.

You answered me, "Of course it is not an inherent conflict when there is value, legacy, investment, or ability" (regarding two family members being on the same Board of Directors). That is my position. Sufficient -- finished -- that's it!

May I repeat my disclaimer from my original posting? "I am defending the principle of having family members serving together on a Board of Directors where it is appropriate. I am NOT defending the management or Board of ETPI."

Now you ask:

Answer these:
1. Does she have any intrinsic (there's that word again) ability?
2. Does she have any acquired ability?
3. Do you believe she will act independently...well if not then the opposite is?
4. You're defending this board as a whole as independent?

These questions are totally irrelevant to what I had said in my posting. I will not be drawn into an argument to defend a position I did not take. EOM.
