Fred: I agree that the ability to 'replay' a days worth of data would be very useful for many people. I do have a bit of experience with the amount of storage space it takes to store a days worth of data. In late 1997, I stored all level II data for 20 active Nasdaq stocks. The storage space required amounted to 300 MB per day for these 20 stocks. I would guess that saving all Nasdaq data would likely take 2-3 GB per day. After saving this data for about two months, I decided to stick with Bill's suggestion and just focus on real time data each day. It just wasn't worth the problems to save the data. -Eric
