Hi Jim,

I've been talking to Gord from IR. Apparently April was a
Mercury's first profitable month. Also, he mentioned that they
were "currently working on the year end statements". I didn't
ask him for a timeframe for when they'd be released though. Being
year end they probably take longer than a quarterly statement.

The fact that they have "turned the corner" and are now showing
monthly profits may not be very apparent from the '99 year end
numbers but I expect that they will have stunning 1st Q '00 numbers.

One of the main things that I like about MRY is the way that they
"book" their revenue month-by-month. For instance, say they make a
large sale in June, they will actually count portions of the revenue
for many months after that...generally it appears that they use an
18 month timeframe. This gives them the ability to "show" nice
steady growth over the next few years.

Cheers,
Rob

PS. I've decided to stick it out with MRY...I was contemplating
lightening up my position, but I'm gonna stick with them since
I believe they have nowhere to go but up. It was nice to see
that Kevin also thinks this way, I really respect his opinion.
