Great Article in Miami Herald today:

It was in the Living and Arts section and it was titled "Downloading music from Net gets a bad rap"

The authors goes on and describes the painful and low quality technology that is out there to perform such task. He describes going to: Atomicpop.com and how after waiting more than 3 hrs he could not find the downloaded file. Then he mentions going to MP3.Lycos.com.using a TI line his friend had in his house. It took him 3hrs to download the Album. Once he had the files he was supposed to get a password to retrieve them...never got the password after e-mails and phone calls. He then went to Launch.Com and tried his luck again. This time all he wanted was to download a free copy of a new beastie Boys song..donations were supposed to go for the Kosovo relief plan. This was the worst of his experiences...these people used a "Newer Secured System using Windows Media technology" could not download the music once again!!!

I tried to download music from the first two sites and I gave up after messing with it for over 1 HR. DO YOU GUYS SEE WHERE WE STAND??? we are going to ROCK the music industry!!! Sit tight and don't let the Shorts BITE!!

GO EDIG!!!
