Not all. I look at it this way. I see the cable lines and all the hardware as factories for data. Should Ford or GM allow others to use their factories? No! Why does T/ATHM have to allow others use their lines? Maybe after a grace period say 5 years (hey it's internet time we are talking about) open it up like telcos are being forced too after decades now, let the pioneers reap the benefit. Or maybe the powers to be should allow three MSOs lay lines to each house, that would provide competition. I'm worrying about the incentive to invest by companies only to have their equipment taken over in a socialistic way once everyone sees how big an impact it will have.
