I think we ought to all speak Hawaiian. It only uses 17 letters so there would be 9 left over that we could give the Serbs and Albanians to rebuild their countries, vocabularies, and burned down schools and colleges. Little enough compensation for bombing them to hell. But I'm naturally a generous guy with others peoples' consonants.
I'm not to wild about a more coherent society. I don't mind people cohering to me as long as they are cute females who have recently bathed and have given me enough warning that I can bathe. I am totally indifferent to ages of adults.
And personally, I like variety in people. I am acutely uncomfortable when I find myself with a bunch of exclusively white Southern men. Sort of feel like we ought to go out and burn a African-American church, or become hysterical in a Holy Roller church. I especially like arguing with bigots and religious nuts. It gives me practice in self-control (I'm not longer brutally strong, skilled, vicious, and spoiling for a fight). I've also met some holy men whom I admire and even love (even though I think they're full of religious crap). The very idea that I would exclude people from America because they are different is absurd. Now if we could retroactively exclude (or abort) some cats like E**** I'd say give it a try.
