Some but not all. There are inorganic chemists. Lot of them work for places like Engelhard or Air Products or the other catalysis houses. Petrochemists and their chemical engineer brethren are another breed. Max Nerd Q gets you theoretical and quantum chemists. Maybe I should be more precise and say synthetic organic chemist. Synthetic distinct from artificial - or so my positronic matrix assures me.
