Hi Graham,
I am surprised that you are up so late on a saturday night.
Yes, many a times people have called me naive. My stockbroker calls me a genius and has asked me to start a mutual fund. Sometimes, I myself think that I am naive, and because of this, I do get hurt many times. But, I'd rather be this way and trust people. Because if we dont, imo, there would be chaos in this world and life would not be as pleasant.
As per the individual you are talking about (I think it is drumbeat), he/she, even if operating under various alias, was not in my opinion, unhonourable. He/she was a strong supporter of Bre-X. Ofcourse, others were there to support/contradict his/her point of view. This is just my opinion.
Personally, I prefer to operate under my own name with no alias.
BTW, I have learned a lot from this thread. I would like to thank every one for their contribution. I will take this opportunity to apologize to anyone that I may have offended.
But I still beleive that Bre-X is oversold and undervalued. A mine like Busang comes only once in a lifetime. The reserves are growing. On average, it takes Busang to add reserves in one month at practically no cost, what it takes the majors to add in a year and at a cost of billions. Once the COWs are signed, Bre-X should see steady accumulation, specially from mutual/pension funds.
