All righteous people of faith need to stand up against the forces of evil and take up the fight against the evils of the modern world. Hehehe...! ;¬) All right... that's the sort of thing that I all too often end up regretting, but to be quite honest I'm not feeling very generous toward Christians of late. This is actually an intriguing concept, and I doubt this is the last we'll hear of it. It's seductive pseudo-reasoning, so people will certainly be seduced... I mean, the argument could certainly be advanced that something has gone wrong with Christmas. What is nominally a religious holiday celebrating the birth of a concept as much as that of a deity has simply become a ritualized festival devoted to greed and self-indulgence. What should be about kindness and charity and generosity has become twisted and ugly. (Anybody who doubts this just hasn't worked in a retail store on the day after Thanksgiving). The idea that this is because Satan has co-opted it will surely seduce at least some of those of passion and limited intellect. Personally, I liked #9: "Santa is real .... so is Satan." This is the sort of blindly axiomatic "proof" that few people other than true believers can even utter with a straight face. Thanks for the link. -BLT
