Is The BOE gold sale just a shell game?
Check this out, They are charging you more to get the solid gold! Could it be that this way they can "sell it", then continue to "loan it", then in the future if they get in trouble simply take it back, when it may not exist at all?
"Settlement of Gold

As we anticipated, most respondents expect gold to be transferred to the accounts held at the Bank of England; there will be no charge for this. We have decided that the standard charge (currently £3.35 per bar) will apply for those bidders who elect for physical delivery, as the gold is being offered loco Bank of England. Physical collection will be possible from the third business day after the auction."

I would sure like a hard audit!
