DCG,

If ( and I believe your right--VRIO should also be included if you note its association with AOL amongst other criteria ) the ISPs will be revisiting some form of ascendency in the following days because of the Portland ruling, Prodigy may not be as good a play as some of the others listed by Glenn P. The following is a chart he produced comparing valuations:

<<Valuation per Market cap/ Subscriber Decline
Subscriber Sales Growth From High

BIZZ 3,144 10.15 N/A 58.95%

ELNK 1,628 7.25 11.55% 40.63%

FLAS 1,465 9.76 10.49% 60.92%

GEEK 1,466 6.86 14.58% 72.44%

MSPG 2,105 11.62 9.81% 40.37%

ONEM (1) 1,042 5.29 11.77% 58.56%

PRGY (2) 2,706 14.20 16.04% 48.64%

(1) Adjusted for the acquisition of "The Grid."
(2) Excludes Prodigy Classic subscribers.

The above analysis is based on June 4, 1999 closing prices. >>

If you're into brand name, ELink looks like the guy to carry your batton ( sp?). For the more adventuresome, ONEM might be your proxy ( note that their strategy is not dissimilar to VRIO's though their respective markets differ ). I disclose, here, my ownership of the latter 2.
